Our optional Payment Plans help you spread out costs over several months – beyond the standard due dates for each term. Students or an Authorized User can enroll in a plan. The sign-up fee is $45 per term and there are no interest charges. Payments are made by autopay on the 5th of each month. Note: before an Authorized User can sign up on a student's behalf, the student must first log into PittPAY and set up the Authorized User in the system.
Online Enrollment
Visit the Payment Plans tab in PittPAY to view the offers and activate a plan. You can take advantage of more months by enrolling early - even before the term begins.
· Fall 2026: enroll by May 4 for up to six payments, May to October (vs. fall due date September 16)
· Spring 2027: enroll by Nov 4 for up to six payments, November to April (vs. spring due date January 27).
Monthly Payment Amounts
You can estimate payments in early months using the built-in calculator. Your selections for campus, program, and full-time or part-time status populate a worksheet with estimated charges. Then, you can add expected financial aid, so your payments are based on expected out-of-pocket costs.
Once actual charges and aid are posted to your account, the plan is periodically rebalanced to keep remaining payments on track. Anticipated aid will be treated as disbursed. You'll receive email updates (and optional texts) five and ten days before each payment processes.
