Waitlisted Classes

Undergraduate students have the ability to place themselves on a waitlist for a class that has no seats available when the student initially registers for classes.  Because the student is not yet officially enrolled in a waitlisted class, it is not included when the student’s tuition and fee rates are computed.

This may result in students being initially charged part-time tuition and fee rates, with additional tuition and fee charges added to the student account if the student is admitted to one or more waitlisted classes. If that is the case, there will be a plus sign next to the amount displayed for tuition and fees on the Account Activity tab in PittPAY.  Expanding the amount displayed will provide the incremental charge details, by date, that sum to amounts associated with tuition and fees.

How you register may also affect your student account balance.  Learn more
